Aidmheil Bhàrdail a’ Chreidimh
The Bardic Confession of Faith
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gur e Aedh Tobar Neo-chrìochnach na Beatha, às a bheil gach beòthalachd, bith, cuimhne, agus fàs a’ tighinn.
*We affirm that Aedh (God the Eternal) is the Infinite Source of Life, from whom all animation, being, memory, and becoming arise.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gur e Aedh lànachd gun chrìoch, gliocas gun aineolas, beatha gun truaillidheachd, agus maitheas gun sgìos.
*We affirm that Aedh is fullness without limit, wisdom without ignorance, life without corruption, and goodness without exhaustion.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach creutair beò a’ gluasad tro ìrean mòra na bith-reachd a rèir foillseachadh tròcaireach Òrdugh Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that all living beings proceed through the great gradations of existence according to the merciful unfolding of Divine order.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach anam ag èirigh à doimhneachdan Neamhni agus a’ dìreadh tro chearcaill Adharta a dh’ionnsaigh Saoirse.
*We affirm that all souls arise in the depths of Neamhni and ascend through the circles of Adharta toward Saoirse.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach eil creutair beò sam bith air a thrèigsinn bhon ghluasad gu soillseachadh, gliocas, agus saorsa.
*We affirm that no living being is abandoned from the movement toward illumination, wisdom, and liberation.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil aig gach cruth bith a chuid fhèin de eòlas, uallach, eòlas-beatha, agus com-pàirteachadh ann am foillseachadh na beatha naoimh.
*We affirm that every form of existence possesses its own knowledge, burden, experience, and participation within the unfolding of sacred life.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil eòlas air a chosnadh tro eòlas-beatha, agus nach èirich iomlanachd gliocais às aonais siubhal tro iomadh staid de bhith.
*We affirm that knowledge is attained through experience, and that no fullness of wisdom may arise without passage through the many conditions of being.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil cuimhne a’ mairsinn tro imrich na bith-reachd, agus gu bheil na stàitean as àirde a’ gleidheadh eòlas nan stàitean as ìsle.
*We affirm that memory persists through the migrations of existence, and that the higher states retain the knowledge of the lower.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gur e staid a’ chinne-daonna àite na cothromachaidh, far a bheil saorsa, breitheanas, agus roghainn mhòralta ag èirigh.
*We affirm that the human condition is the place of balance, wherein liberty, judgment, and moral choosing emerge.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil daonnachd na seasamh taobh a-staigh Adharta mar staid dearbhaidh, ionnsachaidh, lèirsinn, agus fàs naoimh.
*We affirm that humanity stands within Adharta as a state of probation, instruction, discernment, and sacred becoming.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil maitheas agus olc air an aithneachadh tro choinneachadh, agus gu bheil gliocas ag èirigh tro bhuaidh air mì-òrdugh.
*We affirm that goodness and evil are known through encounter, and that wisdom arises through the overcoming of disorder.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach urrainn Saoirse iomlan èirigh às aonais làn eòlais air beatha, fulangas, cruth-atharrachadh, agus ath-nuadhachadh.
*We affirm that perfect Saoirse cannot emerge without the full knowledge of life, suffering, transformation, and restoration.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach cruth bith a’ cur ri foillseachadh làn thuigse.
*We affirm that all forms of existence contribute toward the unfolding of complete understanding.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach eil eòlas sam bith taobh a-staigh an òrduigh naoimh gun bhrìgh ann am foillseachadh nas motha gliocas Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that no experience within the sacred order is without meaning within the greater unfolding of Divine wisdom.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gur iad na Diathan na h-anaman mòra agus na cumhachdan tuigseach tro bheil corp na nàdair air a bheothachadh agus air a chur ann an òrdugh.
*We affirm that the Gods are the great souls and intelligible powers through whom the body of nature is animated and ordered.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil na Tuatha Dé Danann, na h-Aes Dána, na naoimh, agus na sinnsearan naoimh a’ gabhail pàirt mar làthaireachdan eadar-mheadhanach taobh a-staigh leantainneachd bheò foillseachadh Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that the Tuatha Dé Danann, the Aes Dána, the saints, and the sacred ancestors participate as mediating presences within the living continuum of Divine manifestation.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach tuigse naomh ag èirigh bho agus a’ gabhail pàirt anns an Aon Fhìrinn Neo-chrìochnach.
*We affirm that all sacred intelligences arise from and participate within the One Infinite Reality.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach eil eadar-mheadhan sam bith ann air leth bhon Tobar às a bheil gach beatha a’ sruthadh.
*We affirm that no mediation exists apart from the Source from which all life proceeds.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil Aedh ga fhoillseachadh fhèin a rèir comasan chreutairean crìochnaichte, agus gu bheil gliocas Dhiadhaidh air aithneachadh tro iomadh cruth, ainm, corpachadh, agus eachdraidh naoimh.
*We affirm that Aedh manifests according to the capacities of finite beings, and that Divine wisdom is perceived through many forms, names, incarnations, and sacred histories.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach sluagh a’ faighinn foillseachadh a rèir an cànain, an cuimhne, an fhearainn, agus an dualchais shamhlaich fhèin.
*We affirm that every people receives revelation according to its language, memory, land, and symbolic inheritance.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gun d’ fhuair sluagh nan Gàidheal foillseachadh naomh tro ghliocas bàrdail, eachdraidh mhiotasach, diadhachd bhàrdail, agus cuimhne cho-cheangailte nan Tuatha.
*We affirm that the Gaelic peoples received sacred disclosure through bardic wisdom, mythic history, poetic theology, and the covenantal memory of the Tuatha.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil cearcaill Adharta ann airson iomlanachd gliocais, saorsa, agus com-pàirteachadh ann an lànachd Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that the circles of Adharta exist for the perfection of wisdom, liberty, and participation in the Divine fullness.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil fulangas, cruth-atharrachadh, strì, agus ath-nuadhachadh nan gluasadan taobh a-staigh an dìreadh mhòir gu Saoirse.
*We affirm that suffering, transformation, struggle, and renewal are movements within the great ascent toward Saoirse.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach eil truaighe shìorraidh ann taobh a-staigh tròcair neo-chrìochnaich Aedh.
*We affirm that no eternal misery exists within the Infinite mercy of Aedh.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach bith a’ gluasad mu dheireadh gu soillseachadh, rèiteachadh, agus iomlanachd saorsa naoimh.
*We affirm that all beings move ultimately toward illumination, reconciliation, and the perfection of sacred liberty.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gur iad misneachd, ceartas, gliocas, aoigheachd, fìrinn, agus gràdh na buadhan uasal tro bheil creutairean ag èirigh gu com-pàirteachadh nas motha ann am Beatha Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that fortitude, justice, wisdom, hospitality, truth, and love are the noble virtues through which beings ascend toward greater participation in Divine life.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil uaill, an-iochd, ceannas fòirneartach, agus ana-ceartas a’ dorchachadh na slighe gu Saoirse agus a’ ceangal an anama nas doimhne ri mì-òrdugh.
*We affirm that pride, cruelty, domination, and injustice obscure the movement toward Saoirse and bind the soul more deeply within disorder.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil eòlas naomh a’ mairsinn tro chuimhne, bàrdachd, lagh, tòiseachadh, liotairgidh, tar-chur bàrdail, sgoilearachd mhanachail, agus guth beò na traidisein ionnsaichte.
*We affirm that sacred knowledge survives through memory, poetry, law, initiation, liturgy, bardic transmission, monastic scholarship, and the living voice of the learned tradition.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach deach an sruth Druidheach à bith on t-saoghal, ach gu bheil e a’ leantainn tro shruthan cruth-atharraichte de ghlèidhteachas agus leantainneachd naoimh.
*We affirm that the Druidic current has not vanished from the world, but continues through transformed streams of preservation and sacred continuity.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh gu bheil gach fìor ghliocas a’ sruthadh a dh’ionnsaigh aonachd leis an Tobar Neo-chrìochnach.
*We affirm that all true wisdom flows toward unity with the Infinite Source.*
Tha sinn a’ dearbhadh nach e sgrios deireadh gach strì naoimh, ach com-pàirteachadh ann an lànachd neo-chrìochnach na Beatha Dhiadhaidh.
*We affirm that the end of all sacred striving is not annihilation, but participation in the endless fullness of Divine life.*
